Our Aim

Southern Highland Evangel feels it is God's purpose for this age to do His work through the local church.

In the southern highlands the Word of God is respected, and there is much evidence of religion, but the lack of sound Bible teaching is also evident. Our hearts are touched by this, because it is through the Word of God that souls are saved and Christians grow in the Lord.

There are many communities in this mountain area that do not have a Bible teaching church. We feel it is our calling, and therefore it is our aim, to plant a New Testament church in every community where there is no Gospel voice.

Our Stand

A firm stand on the Word of God is necessary if we are to expect God's blessings. Southern Highland Evangel takes its stand against any apostate, ecumenical, or charismatic movement.

Our Ministry

The Lord has blessed with varied opportunities of witness through church services, home visitation, Bible clubs, Bible classes in schools, institutional ministries, and the ministry of Camp Evangel. Through these channels the Word of God is sown in hearts and lives with the determination to carry on the Bible pattern of establishing New Testament churches.
