Camp Evangel is dedicated to being a ministry that assist local churches. We feel God has blessed us with wonderful facilities and we want to allow you to use these facilities to encourage others from God's Word. Whether you be having a men's prayer retreat, a mother and daughter retreat, or just a weekend retreat with the youth group; we want to provide the best enviroment so that you can be encourage during your time here.

This beautiful chapel has a capacity of 140 people. It is equipted with a stage, seating, and piano. It also has a class room down stairs that can hold up to 25 people. A Camp Evangel Media Specialist can also help set up and operate our sound system with a projector and screen if needed.

 

There is a total of five cabins. Each cabin is equipt with bunkbeds and can hold up to 30 guests. Each cabin is divided up into three seperate rooms which encourages more privacy. The bath house is just a few feet away from each cabin.

This spacious building has plenty of room for fun and games. Inside there is a basketball court with two balconies for spectators to watch from. Also in the balconies there are table games such as carpetball, ping pong, and foosball for guest to play. Enjoy a refreshment from our Snack Shack or visit our Trading Post which are also located in the Recreation Building.

At the Speed Track we have over twelve go carts that are ready to race. Race each other in three different types of go cart. Choose either a one seater, two seater, or an Indy car to race around the track. All drivers must to be able to touch the brake petal in order to race. 

Cool off in our refreshing swimming pool and water slide. The swimming pool has a swallow area at three feet deep. In the deep end drive in the pool and try to touch the bottom at twelve feet deep. Also cool off flying down a 120 foot long water slide. We do ask that those that use our swimming facilities only have same gender swimming together.  

Have a blast getting muddy in our mucky mud pit. Play tug of war in it or just make a mud mask for your face, have fun making memories together. Also rinse off afterward on a 65 foot long slip-n-slide.

Sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Appalachian Mountains on this relaxing hayride. Observe God's creation and maybe see a animal or two. This delightful time take about an hour to go on.

Get outdoors and explore God's creation while hiking to the top of Mt. Baldie. This breath taking view has a beautiful overlook of Camp Evangel.

Enjoy your time making a memory that you can take home with you. We have a room designated to just making crafts. We will work with you to help make age appropriate craft for your group. Make anything from leather craft to floral arrangements to a simple painting. The choice is up to you!!
